Line Chart with Multiple Years not Joining

I'm struggling to plot mulitiple years data successfully ontop of eachother, could anyone possibly provide a solution.

I am able to plot months and days individually successfully as dates, however when I try put them both on the x axis I run into some difficulties. Once applying a slicer the lines are then able to join again.

@llPCoetzll , You can get a continuous axis visual 2,4 only with date and number. if these are any other data type is used on the axis, you will get a categorical axis. you can all +0 to measure if needed
