Text.PositionOf accepts a string, but not PositionOfAny: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerquery-m/text-positionofany
vs
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerquery-m/text-positionof
Hi @sundayDriver ,
Do you want to find the position of one column in the other? Like the following screenshot.
Maybe you can use the Text.PositionOf to get the position, or you can use DAX function, like SEARCH, FIND.
If it doesn’t meet your requirement, could you please provide a mockup sample based on fake data?
It will be helpful if you can show us the exact expected result based on the tables.

Hi @v-zhenbw-msft ,
Here's an example of what I meant:
Sentence = "Today is great and the weather is warm. Yesterday was good but tomorrow will be better."
Ideally it would be Text.PositionOfAny(Sentence, {"tod", "tomor", "yester"})
I second this request. It is inconsisent for Text.PositionOf to allow strings but for Text.PositionOfAny to only accept characters.
Hi @sundayDriver ,
What is the question in this post? Can you elaborate a little more?

Check out my blog: Power BI em PortuguêsHi @sundayDriver ,
Do you want to get the position of each word in this sentence?
We suggest you to create three custom columns to show the result.
