KPI alerts

I am using KPI visual to generate alert for count of one of my column of the table .

If the count value is below threshold value and remain same for consecutive days it do not generate alert for consecutive days .

Any hack to generate alert as soon as dataset refreshes no matter count value is changed or not

I've used the built in data alert feature, and it works very well. You first need to create a dashboard with the particular KPI, then set up an alert with the settings there. On the data refresh, it'll send you a notification in Teams as well as email. You can set the frequency of alerts as well.

It is working for me if kpi value changes after refresh but if kpi value of current day is same as koi value of previous day it is not sending the alert . I have read somewhere kpi visual generate alert only if kpi value changes after refresh

Hi @Kapilchauhan4u ,

Please try to  use a data driven alert in Power BI dashboard. This alert is fired when the dataset refreshes and you can use it as a trigger in Power Automate. You can use the “When a data driven alert is triggered in Power BI” trigger in Power Automate to start your flow and then add an action to send an email or a push notification.

Ex if threshold value is 5 and count of rows are 2 after Monday refresh and also 2 after  Tuesday refresh, it generates alert for Monday but not for Tuesday, however the data has changed . Any hack to generate alert on Tuesday as well?
