Just getting started - Colums

Sorry I know this will be basic, just getting started.

So I have been able to connect to my data and then put it on a page and create charts.

But having a hard time figuring out how to get it to display as expected.

Let's say you want a chart of Reqs by customer.

Some Reqs can be Open and some can be Closed.

So I want two bars for each Customer.

One bar shows the total of the Open and right next to it a total of the Closed.

So across the bottom I would have multiple customers, each with two bars, one showing total open Reqs and one showing total closed Reqs.

Right now I get 1 bar for each customer with # of reqs, I can do a filter for open or closed, but not sure how I get both.

I've tried dragging the req status column to the Axis area to get multiple axis items.. but hasn't worked.

Thanks,

Terry

We would need to see the structure of your table(s) to be able to provide adequate help.

However, and hazarding a guess here, if you have a column for open/closed, try dragging that to the legend bucket in the formatting pane of the clustered column visual
