JAMF Pro Connector Authentication

I just started using the JAMF Pro Connector (beta) to connect with PowerBI, however our JAMF admin informed me that as of the update coming out next month Basic Auth, which is what that connector uses, will be depricated and no longer function.  Are there any plans to update the Authentication Metod used for the JAMF Pro Connector?
