Issues Opening Power BI Desktop

Hello -

Is anyone else having issues just getting Power BI Desktop to open?  It opens about once every 15-20 tries for me (on a good day) and the other times it just shows the Power BI Desktop box saying initializing model and an 'Unexpected Error' pops up after a few minutes.  Is this just an issue on my computer, or are other experiencing this?

Do you have the latest version?

Have you tried removing anf re-installing it?

What O/S are you on?

I am also crashing on startup. It get to "initializing model" and crashes with Windows saying the program has crashed. I started having this issue with the most recent update. I have not re-installed PBI Desktop, but will be trying that shortly (waiting on our IT team to come up and take care of it). I am on windows 10 64 and this is using the most recent installationg of PBI Desktop (February 2018 release).
