Issue with the latest version report when editing in previous version(sept-2019)

Hi PowerBI Folks,

Attached screenshot

when i have downloaded a report(latest version)from our report server and trying to edit the report in older version desktop(sep-2019), iam getting below error pop ups. pelase somebody confirm that is this okay to do changes on the report and save it. or it throws any error after uploading to the power bi report server portal ?

please share your thoughts and suggestions on this scenario.

Hi  @bkatkam ,

You can edit reports in a newer version even though it was created in an older one.Otherwise it may return errors if some features have been updated and you need to use them and save the changes.

i understand but most of our reports are in older version and this particular set of reports are uploaded by business in the latest version.
