Hi all,
I have an issue when I filter data from my Dimension table. Some data from my fact table is not filtered correctly following the filter context.
For example, in screenshot below, I have some data ( "site") which is not filtered correctly from my fact table.
Could anyone help how to solve the kind of issue on filter & model ?
Thanks in advance.
You have not provided any information about which tables your columns in these visuals come from, so it's hard to say. My best guess is to look at the columns used to join dim to fact. I assume in the fact table column you have values that are missing in your dim table column.
Hi @MattAllington ,
Sorry for missing information.
I have a snowflake model type with a fact table ( Ft_Reservations) and main dimension table ( Dim_bureaux) with another dimensions tables linked on.
Main relationship is between my fact table "Ft_Reservations" and dimension "Dim_Bureaux".
From the first image in the OP, it seems that the results in the result of filter table do not have a code_site value. My guess that is the issue.
Generally it is advisable to flatten out snowflakes into a star schema if possible. The size and performance benefits from a RDBMS do not apply in Power BI.
