Hi,
I'm confused about the number of proposals.
I used the card then select count distinct even created a few dax using count and distinctcount but the numbers don't add up.
As shown the power bi display 285 but when I downloaded the file into csv the correct number should be 223 (excluding header)
Hope someone can help

@Anonymous , Check if there are some hidden rows are there or not in csv, and check count in Power Query while doing transformation
TotalProposals = COUNT('Table'[ProposalID])
UniqueProposals = DISTINCTCOUNT('Table'[ProposalID])

Hi @Anonymous - Can you cross check the proposal count in table view, what is the distinct count? ensure that your DAX measures are accurately counting distinct values based on the correct criteria.
I hope there are no filters applied to the card visual or the page that might affect the count
may be if there is any filters applied use the below measure
DistinctProposalCount_NoFilters =
CALCULATE(
DISTINCTCOUNT('YourTable'[Proposal No]),
REMOVEFILTERS('YourTable')
)
still issue exist, share some sampledata for reference.
Hope it helps
