Issue in connectin PBI desktop with Mondrian cube

Hi Team,

We could successfully connect Excel with Mondrian cube created by Pentaho and the data can be visualized thru Excel.

We have used XMLA Provider to connect Mondrian Schema

We tried to connect the same Mondrian schema with Power BI using the same XMLA provider using OLEDB datasource.

The connection has been successfully connected but the schema is not loaded.and we are not able to see any data.

It is giving below error

"Details: "OleDb.DataSource does not currently support multidimensional data sources."

Please help us on this.pease let us if this is possible

What specific connector do you use in Excel? Based on the above error message, it doesn't support to connect to the cube using OLEDB connector in Power BI Desktop.

I am unable to find any methods that can be used to connect to Mondrian in Power BI Desktop. There is an idea about this issue, please vote it up.
