Issue UriEncode OData String

Hello,
Connecting with Dynamics NAV. Connection string it's .../OData/Company('companyname'). The case: companyname have ampersand character. Then, connecting through PowerBI Desktop UriEncode replace ampersand for %26 and works. Getting data from services Dynamics NAV credencial error occurs only with companies on database when name have ampersand. May be UriEncode doesn't work properly on Power BI web application.

Hi @dvelazquez,

Does this issue appeared when you use the microsoft dynamic 365 connector? If both two methods contains this issue, perhaps you can use Replace method to replace these unrecognized charaters to specify string, then invoke the connect funciton.

In addition, you can take a look at below link which about power query encode: (encode url string before invoke the odata method)

encode base64 url with powerquery

Hi Xiaoxin, Thnanks for your reply.

No 365 connector. The authentication type is Basic.

Get Data method is: Content Pack Library -> Services -> MS Dynamics NAV. This contect pack works with pre-defined data models. Only possible to validate the URL OData feed.

Regards,

Diego.

Hi @dvelazquez,

I think the issue may related to the connector, but I haven't found a solution to solve it.
