Issue: Suddenly Power Queries won't load into Power Pivot

Hello,

I am relatively new to Power BI/Query/Pivot and I'm in the process of trying to learn the programs.

Currently I'm following a tutorial where I have loaded in two queries as "connection only". The first time I opened this and tested it the table appeared in Power Pivot, no issue. However, after I had to redo the entire process from scract the data will no longer appear in Power Pivot.

I also tested with another Excel file and I had the same issue there with Power Pivot not showing the data there as well.

Is there something that I may have unhooked or clicked on which disabled this? I have tried to search around for it, but can't seem to find a solution which has been fitting for my situation.

Edit: I realised I made a very big beginner mistake and messed up on what settings was hooked off when closing and loading the data sheet. The issues is solved.

Thank you,

Renate

Hi @RenateBK ,

According to your description, you are in a situation where you use Power pivot to load data in a Powe query and show blanks.

You can try to save and close the file. Close Excel. Restart MS Excel, open the Excel file, and re-view the data. Or enable Safe Mode to open the program

Hello Gallen,

Thank you so much for linking me these resources and for taking your time to reply.

In the process of trying to redo everything for a third time I realised I made quite a big beginner mistake related to what was unhooked and hooked off when saving and importing the file, and it is now fixed.

Best regards,

Renate
