I am trying to open Power BI Desktop, but I am getting this error:
Query features cannot be used because the computer is not trusted for delegation or the current user accout is not configured to allow delegation. If your comupter allows delegation, then there is likely an issue with your domain setting. Go to https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=841436 for troubleshooting information.
So far I have Enabled Delegation on my account via the local policies but this issue still occurs. I have been stuck on this issue for a while. I would be greatful for suggestions/solutions.
Thanks,
bdiouf
I know this is an old post but I had this issue today and fixed it. Power BI is on my work laptop and I'd just installed an OS update when it stopped working. Turns out I had to be connected to the VPN on first login, I guess it's some kind of DHCP-type situation. Hope this belatedly helps!
I searched the web for a solution but the closest I got was the article below with similar messages. I've tried the solution by adding a regkey to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Cryptography\Protect\Providers\df9d8cd0-1501-11d1-8c7a-00c04fc297eb
i.e. Right Click, create new Dword (32bit) Value, name it 'ProtectionPolicy' then edit it to the value of 1. Solves the issue immediately, not restart required.

Hi bdiouf,
Did you solve this issue?
Any ideas would be appreciated.
HI @Anonymous,
I haven't found any similar issue before. In my opinion, I'd like to suggest you submit a support ticket to get further support from power bi team.
