Is this chart possible in PowerBI?

Hello,

I haven't been able to find a custom chart that gets close to this. I want the X-axis to either be 1-2 weeks from today. Then for each day have a list of things that occur on that day; the ordering doesn't matter. I want to be able to filter per 'type' (color in this case). 'Car' is just a placeholder for whatever that event is.

If this isn't possible in PowerBI is there an alternative software? I've looked at all of the calendar visuals but they all add 'time' for each day when broken down into a week.

Many thanks,

Bailey.

@BaileyL It looks like a form of stacked column chart to me. Or even something you might be able to pull off with a matrix and conditional formatting. Would need sample data to try it out. There is always Deneb...

@Greg_Deckler The stacked bar chart is almost it, yet it loses some readibility since the bars aren't seperated. Importing from R/Python or the 'timeline storyteller' look promising, if not a little simplier than Deneb.

Thanks for the advice,
