I have 48 slicers in my dashboard + one Year and Application slicer. Now if I go through each slicer from the 48 group then it takes a lot of loading time. So, I definitely need the apply all slicers button for this which will help query reduction.
But I want my Year and application slicer to work normally without clicking the apply all button.
Is there any way to solve this?
Solved! Go to Solution.
If you're using a tool that allows multiple pages or tabs within a dashboard, you might separate the slicers that need to be applied together on one page, and the ones you want to work separately on another.
Instead of applying the slicers all at once, you could attempt to logically separate them, perhaps by placing them in different visual containers. Then, guide users to apply one set of slicers before moving on to the next. While not a direct solution, this may help achieve the desired user experience.

There's no native functionality to exclude specific slicers from the "Apply all slicers" button. A workaround might include separating slicers logically, using different pages, or custom development using available APIs or scripting languages. Other strategies may include engaging with community forums or the platform's support for specialized guidance, or monitoring updates from the software provider for new features that might address this limitation. Unfortunately, without specific functionality designed to exclude a slicer, achieving the desired effect may require inventive solutions or compromises.
