Is there any option to directly replace the table with a View in a Database ?

Hi ,

 

Is there any option to directly replace the table with a View in a Database ,Like Im currently using a Table now i want to replace this table with a newly created view in DB .

 

I see there is no option to replace the table in Power BI .

 

Please Help.

Hi @Vaishnavi_M,

 

From your description, it seems that you want to change the data source form a table to a view in the same database, right?

 

You can open Query Editor -> Advanced Editor, assume the previous code when connecting to a table is below:

You can change the table name "DimSalesTerritory" to view name "vDMPrep".
