Hi @revathi_p4,

You mean on the PowerBI Service? If yes, you can see the tables used on the dataset on the right side, but it doesn't indicate the source, could be from SQL, Excel, SharePoint and etc.

If you mean on the Desktop, the only way to see the tables or SQL query is by going on each dataset inside PowerQuery and checking for the tab "Source", like mentioned below.

I never head of a way to list all my "sources", would love to know it 😊

Hope it was helpful.

Regards,

Douglas.

Thanks for your response.

Yes,from powerbi service.

we have more than 100 reports in workspace(each reports connected with different sql table). Exact need here is Need to extract(excel/Json format) all the datasource connected (SQL table name,Database) in dashboard from powerbi services.

Output:

1st column --> SQL table name

2nd column --> Database name

3rd column--> Powerbi report/Dataset name

Hope Its clear!!
