Is there a way to see the underlying data behind a visual created with a measure?

I have a card visual displaying the sum total of a column from my dataset with some other calculations inside a measure. I want the report user to be able to access the data behind the measure but the show as a table option does not appear as I am not visualising the dataset, just the measure created from the dataset. Is there a way I can do this without adding an extra visual?
