I have this slicer with three options
The user will always need to have the thrid option selected. Is there a way to make sure it is always selected and then hide it so the user cannot de select it?

Hi @Anonymous ,
According to your description, for example you have a column just like this:
Here's my solution. Create a new table.
Make relationship between the two tables and set the filter direction to both.
Put the slicer column from the new table into a slicer.
Get the result. User can only filter the Filter1 and Filter2, Always On row is always on.
I attach my sample below for reference.

Hi @v-yanjiang-msft you give a solution for fixed values, My case I need a value to be always showed in any time selection (date slicer), I have a second slicer wiht Yes and No, so when I chose "No" I need to display all data regardless of the date selected in the Calendar Slicer. Thanks so far!
That is perfect thank you!
@v-yanjiang-msft Nice solution. Easy to implement and use.
@Anonymous Try to implement this in to your main data. See how difficult it is to create that second table.
Hi @Anonymous , Varun,
You can do so by simply hiding the slicer visualization from the page.
On your Power BI Desktop, go to the View Tab in the ribbon. Click on Selection button.
It will open up the selection panel on the right of your report. Next Click on the eye button next to your slicer's name to hide that particular visual.
Reference:
You can also do this by applying the slicer selection as a page filter and hiding it from report users.

Hi
Thanks, but this does not allow the user to then select the other options on the slicer. I have three select options. One must always be selected and the other two can be toggled on and off. Is this possible?
You can set the column from the slicer as a filter to be used on all pages, and you can lock it too. Just drag the column on to the "Filters on all pages" section.
This then removes the ability for the user to select the other 2 options from the three
The options I have are
- Filter1
- Filter2
- AlwaysOn
The user can select Filter1 or/and Filter2, but AlwaysOn needs to always be available for the user. Is this possible?
