Is there a way to define data type when creating column?

Hi GulianiG
Add the data type to the end of your new column expression in Advance Editor:
Normal New Column MCODE without data type:
Table.AddColumn(#"Changed Type", "Custom", each [Column1]*2)
New Column with Data Type:
Table.AddColumn(#"Changed Type", "Custom", each [Column1]*2, Int64.Type)If this post helps, please consider accepting it as the solution to help the other members find it more quickly.
