Hi there,
I have a quick question (may seem like a dumb question) but is there a way to add a trend line to a line like an average line and clustered chart?
I don't see an option for it in the further analysis area.

Thanks for the reply from @rajendraongole1 and@Uzi2019 , please allow me to provide another insight:
Hi @gbarr12345 ,
According to the official documentation: dynamic lines do not support line and clustered charts, and average lines are a type of dynamic lines.
Use the Analytics pane in Power BI Desktop - Power BI | Microsoft Learn
If you want to display a trend line in a line and clustered chart with year + month on the x-axis, you can try changing the data type of the [date] column to "Date", and then formatting the field as " YYYYY-MM".
In the Format pane, set the type to "Continuous" instead of "Categorical".

Hi Liu,
Apologies for the delayed response. I was out of office for the last 2 weeks.
I set the date format to YYYY-MM as you mentioned above.
However, I still can't see an option to change the type to continuous:
This date field seems to have been created manually so is this possibly why this is the case?
Hi @gbarr12345 - Analytics pane is not avialable now in Line and clustered chart in latest release 2024 june.
