We have had SSAS models, now we have deleted the model, but not the dataset in cloud.
There is a new datset that we want the users to redirect the report source to.
But now as the model of the SSAS does no longer exist the dataset fails(ofc) and it is no longer possible to change the source in the desktop file. It is not even possible to open the desktop files for the reports.
My question is:
Are there any way of accessing the source in the dataset in some kind of "back door"? I know it is possible to separate te report from the dataset, but is it possible to get access to the source somehow?

I found it.
By opening the Archive of the zip file using 7zip or similar, you can edit the files that the .pbix consist of.
Did the same with a .pbix that already was connected to the correct dataset and copied the connection from this one to the one that fails.
Then it works!
