Is it possible to only capture a single value in one of 2 different slicers?

I have a Calendar Year column and a Fiscal Year column in the date-dimension table.

I put them in 2 slicers as follows.

Is it possible to only capture a single value in one of the 2 slicers? (but not at the same time)

For example:

• When I select a single value in Slicer_1, I can't select a value in Slicer_2.
• When I select a single value in Slicer_2, I can't select a value in Slicer_1.

Better pop up an alert/message for this or grey-it-out...

Is this possible?

Your demand is a good idea, while it is not supported to implement in Power BI currently. You can post your new idea in Idea Forum , to improve the Power BI.

It is a place for customers provide feedback about Microsoft Office products . What’s more, if a feedback is high voted there by other customers, it will be promising that Microsoft Product Team will take it into consideration when designing the next version in the future.

As a workaround, you create two bookmarks for the two slicers, for reference: Use bookmarks in Power BI Desktop to share insights and build stories .
