Is it possible to customize the navigation of an App?

I'd like to create an app to to organize and make related reports available to my organization. Is it possible for the navigation to be horizontal instead of vertical? Is there any way to customize the navigation buttons to use an image background?

Are you talking about the App within a workspace?

Within the apps in a workspace, you canonly get vertial alignment on the left.

But in-case you want to some kind f control on the consumers of the App like to which report they have access to within this app, you can go ahead and use the concept of Audiences within the app.
