Is it faster to store things as variable or measure?

Is it quicker performance wise to store things as a variable (within a measure), or a measure (that gets referred to by other measures).

Thanks!

@jessset ,

Both will be done in memory. But some time variable is used resolve to a single value. You need to take care of that. Try to have calculation inside the measure calculation
