I have a list of dates that I would like to run a function on, it has two parameters but it only needs one.
Alternatively, I'd like to run this function and include the parameters as a column.

So, typically you create a column in the query editor that invokes the function. I believe there is a button for it. You can pass your columns as the parameters. I have a blog series where I make heavy use of custom functions called "Fun with Graphing in Power BI".
