Inventory Running Total (ERP)

Hello all,
My goal is to start with an Inventory figure, dated as today() currently in my report. I want to add incoming (PO's) by date over the next several months, while also subtracting another measure (Demand) from that figure. I would settle for a monthly figure but the dates are daily so if I could get it to return a date that the total reaches 0 that would be absolutely ideal.
I have category table, date table, all relevant information and Sum measures... I just do not know how to add together 3 different measures and carry forward the value, and then show a column with a runout date.

Hey @Anonymous ,

maybe this blog can become your first step: Using Table Iterators to calculate a future value - Mincing Data - Gain Insight from Data (minceddata.info)

If not, take the time and create a pbix that contains sample data, but still reflects your data model (tables, relationships, calculated columns, and measures. Upload the pbix to onedrive or dropbox and share the link. If you are using Excel to create the sample data instead of the manual input method, share the xlsx as well.

Describe the expected result based on the sample data you provide.

Regards,

Tom
