Interaction between slicer and report level filter (new filtering experience)

Hello

With the new filtering experience available now, I would like to do something like below.

If I have columns for Region, Country and State. If I put Region as a slicer on the page and put other 2 "Country" and "State" as report level filters and show them in the new filter pane.

However, with this, once a particular region value is selected, the values in report level filters for Country and State will not be updated to show only relevant values for the selected region.

Is there a way to resolve this or if anything coming up in future to enable such scenario?

I don't think that will be resolved, that's the way it is supposed to work.
