Hey guys,
I would like to know if it´s possible to generate monthly results in PBI out of a dabase that is not separated by dates.
Let me explain:
My current database looks like below:
I repeat the "Unique Names" per month and when a "Unique Name" is "finished", I change its status and write down a "Finish Date".
What that gives me is a chart showing each month a progressively smaller number of "Unique Names" with the status "Running". See below:
What I would to like to accomplish is a database with a fixed list of "Unique Names", not repeating by month. See below:
Is it possible for PBI to understand this? Maybe using today´s date and the "Finish date" or any other method...
Something that would not force me to repeat the entries per month.
The database and the pbi files are on the Onedrive link: Onedrive
Thanks
Hi,
So what final result are you expecting? It will be better if you can show the final Table that you are expecting (instead of a chart). Once the figures can be computed correctly in a Table, a chart can always be prepared.
Hi.
Here is a table screenshot (the dates are in Portuguese):
The idea is that a fixed set of data can generate monthly past results.
Hi,
I just do not understand your question. Sorry.
I´m sorry if I haven´t been clear. I´ve just updated my first post so that you and everyone else can have a better idea of what I´m trying to achieve
