Hi all,
Is there a way to refresh only the most recent data in Power BI desktop?
I.e. - just clicking on the refresh button highlighted below...
All the instructions I have found relate to refreshing the modle in the Power BI service only. I manually refresh data every day in Power BI desktop - which is taking longer and longer as the model grows in size.
Thanks for any help!
Hello @gaznez ,
so if your report in service is being schedualed to refresh while you're away, you can download the latest report from service that will be updated with latest data.
other than that I don't have any applicable solution for it.

Thanks @az38, the table taking the longest time to refresh is my fact table containing sales data. The data connects to a folder containing a single excel spreadsheet for each year (each spreadsheet is about 40MB). Is there any way to exclude the refresh of all the spreadsheets up to 2023 (as this data will never change)? I can see that you can untick 'Include in report refresh' but presumably that would apply to all the excel spreadsheets in the folder...?
Thanks!
