Hello everyone,
I want to apply incremental refresh. I have set up the parameters RangeStart and RangeEnd, and used these parameters as filters for the table I want to use for incremental refresh. Unfortunately, I have the following message:
I already deleted all the steps in Query Editor:
Or is it the source which prevents the incremental refresh?
Secondly, the parameters are not recognized in the Online Service:
I assume this is correlated with each other, and if one issue is solved, the other issue is solved as well. That's why I included both questions as one.
Finally, the parameters look like this:
Hello,
What datasource are you using?
You can look at this discussion https://community.fabric.microsoft.com/t5/Desktop/Unable-to-M-query-can-be-folded-incremental-refres...
I am using Exact online, a software package. But I think that it's not possible to use this data source. As you can see, the source is ConnectorExactOnline.Imports("1", 3). That '3' means that you load 3 years of data. So, it doesn't make sense to apply incremental refresh with this data source.
You can still use incremental refresh, using rangestart and rangeend parameters in your M code.
Google, incremental refresh api call
It's a workaround but still you might do the job
