Incremental Refresh a on certain visuals/tables on PBI Service

Hi,

I'm trying to create an incremental refresh for a couple of visuals in my report. I currently have a dataset with multiple tables that I have published to the PBI Service, I have then put data refreshed on every hour or so. However there is a couple visuals that I only want refreshing once a day rather than every hour. I was reading an article about putting in a range but I just want it doing once every day

Does anyone know how I can go about doing this?

Cheers

@michael_knight , if the table is getting refreshed hourly, the visual will also refresh hourly. I think so

Would I be able to create a seperate table, apply the incremental refresh on that table and just use that? So the rest of the dataset will refresh hourly and the incremental refresh table will only refresh once a day

@michael_knight

You can create two datasets and build your reports. Each dataset can be configured with different intervals for refreshes.

Also, check on the possibility of using Dataflows, it offers data refresh options by entities.

Do you have any good articles which I can read with tips on how to do either?

@michael_knight

You can refer to this video on composite models: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WowP5vOgeqI

A good collection of videos for Dataflows: https://www.youtube.com/c/Radacad/search?query=dataflows

Hi @Fowmy, thanks for your suggestions. I struggled to implement them into my report. Unless I'm blind, I couldn't see how I could apply that myself
