Incorrect total in matrix (no measure used)

Hi all,

I have browsed several topics in regards to incorrect total in matrix visual. I understand, this might happen when using measures. However, in my simple data model I have DIM_SalesAccounts categories and FACT_Budget table. No calculation, just putting those 2 columns into the matrix. 

Based on some suggestions here on forum, I have tried to use Acterys Matrix Light visual with exactly same columns and the visual is showing the correct figures.

I would like to understand the rootcause of this (I would say) bug as I want to avoid using customized visuals.

What is chosen here?

It's hard to reproduce the scenario, please show some sample data.
