Importing from ODBC to Power BI is slow

Hi,

I am trying to import data from ODBC to Power BI and it is taking lot of time.

There are around 90k rows in each table in the oracle database, when i am trying to import one table it is taking around 5-6 hours.

When trying to import 100 rows from odbc it is taking 4 minutes.

Is there any possible way that i can import data with less time?

Please help me with this

Hi @Anonymous

The import speed is directly dependent on the how well your ODBC connection is performimg and has nothing to go with ppwer BI.

Try importing the data through any other sql editor into an csv file. I am sure it will also take the same amount of time.
