Importing SharePoint Views Metadata into PBI

Hello!

I am hoping to understand how to pull in the views and viewers metadata from a pdf file on SharePoint within PowerBI for reporting. 

Trying to review through SharePoint Online Lists and not finding what I was hoping for. 

The pdf metadata in SharePoint can be viewed by hovering over a file and clicking "Views" or "See details."

Any help is super appreciated!

Hi @Squid ,

SharePoint connector is mainly used to import structured data, it currently does not support the direct import of PDF data.

Hi @Squid  - As per my understanding, Direct metadata for views or viewers is not available in standard SharePoint list views. You need to rely on either Graph API, REST API, or audit logs.Views and viewers metadata in SharePoint Online is not directly exposed as a column or metadata in SharePoint lists.
As mentioned above, you can leverage the Microsoft Graph API or SharePoint REST API to retrieve this information programmatically.
