Hi folks, I'm teaching a PBI class at my company, and I have a user who has a strange problem. He is loading some data from Excel. This Excel has a functioning ODBC connection. He then adds a couple of customer columns to the table in Excel, and then he imports that table into PBI.
For some reason, when he loads the data into his report (using the Excel connector on the sheet), PBI is not showing any data in his Data View. But it's not behaving like it's filtered; rather, it's showing as if it is the correct number of empty cells.
Any idea what's going on here?
Hi @jengwt ,
Possible reasons:
1. Whether the data in the data source is displayed completely.
2. Whether it is imported correctly into Power BI Desktop, you can enter Power Query Editor to see if the data is displayed completely.
3. Try the refresh operation in Power BI Desktop.
Best Regards,
Stephen Tao
