Hi,
Not all Data Source have option for writing a query for importing a table. I am using Vertica, on which while creating a Source Connection, I don't have option for providing Query.
Is there any option in Power BI Desktop from where I could provide the query for importing the table?
I found a related post but that SQL Server is used in that post which is having an option for providing query while making the connection. http://community.powerbi.com/t5/Desktop/Custom-Query-BI-DESKTOP/m-p/133454#M57009

HI @Anonymous,
If you can't find the addition option with sql statement on this connector, it is impossible to use additional query on your datasource.
For your scenario, you can add filters in power query or submit this requirement ideas forum.
