Image won't display/appears transparent

I have a very weird situation where an image which I inserted into a page is there but has become completely transparent.  It was fine, but then I created a completely separate measure, then the image doesn't show.  Here is what it looked like:

Then after I created the measure (which again isn't even on this page let alone connected to the image), the image itself doesn't show.  What's bizarre is that you can select it, but it's as though it's become 100% tranparent.

I've checked the formatting, and again, nothing is selected or has been changed which would make this "disappear".

Anyone have any ideas?

Forgot to close and re-open.  It came back.
