1 ACCEPTED SOLUTION

Hi @delegate_PBI

I know it isn't ideal but as a work around you could use the New Card visual or download either the custom visual: Simple Image, Image or Image by cloudscope.

Then put a see through button on top that has the action attached to it.

That seems to be the case if using Fill. Fit stretches the image to fill the container while Normal respects the image ratio. I am using the latest update. Is it possible that the image has white space around it?

Hi @delegate_PBI ,

Recent release of Power BI Desktop is behaving weirdly. I suggest installing an earlier version to save some time of you.

Hi @delegate_PBI

Jpeg in slicer

And jpg in table, both still seem to be working

 jpg in button

Something that has caught me out before when switching a theme is the lock aspect ratio setting.

Click your visual and go to General | Properties | size | lock aspect ratio

Have you tried the image in a table, new slicer and new card?

It won't auto show as an image in the new card.

You need to upload the image

Out of interest if you try the URL approach does it work?

Remember to assign the column as a Image URL.

As image url it work but I do not need it as a slicer I just want it to be as image and can do action as a button for page navigation. I also need to educate user on this issue why this work before and why can they use it in the current update?
