Hello guys,
I have done many researchs on google but didn't find a solution so I hope you could help me 🙂
As written on the subject, I would like to ignore the RLS on the first page of my report. It allows to ALL USERS to visualize. Then, on others, the data should be filtered by the role of each user (example : members of each department can see data only relating to this department).
I can not create/duplicate my data tables, that's the problem.
Thank you in advance 🙂
I think like you but wanted to be sure. Thank you very much
Hi. I'm sorry but you can't do that. The RLS is configured for your data model. That means the it will be applied inside the data. It's not something that you can drag and drop on the report. You can create a different Power Bi Desktop with a new data model for that page and publish it on the same workspace. That way you are not duplicating tables in the data model to accomplish this.
Hope that helps,
Happy to help!
