I am trying to do an IF statement comparing a column containing dates. Basically, I want to say IF an order date is between two dates, it is labeled as year 1.
EX:
If the order date is between 9/15/2015 and 8/31/2016, then it would be labeled as Buy Year 2016.
If the order date is between 9/1/2016 and 8/31/2017, then it would be labeled as Buy Year 2017.
Can I do this with an IF statement? What is the best approach. The column with the order date is labeled as a date column.

Hi
If(and(Orderdate>=date(2015,9,1),Orderdate<=date(2016,8,31),2016,
If(and(Orderdate>=date(2016,9,1),Orderdate<=date(20176,8,31),2017))
