IBM Db2 database - Error in direct query mode

Hi all,

I am having problems with Direct Query mode using the IBM db2 database connector. The connection seems to work correctly and when i have entered the required connection details and press ok it shows the data in a preview (so connection to DB2 is working)

When I then click Load it then gives me an error: Cannot Load model. We couldn't connect to your directquery data source or internal model. Double-check that your server and databases name are correct, and that you have permission to access them.

DirectQuery error: DirectQuery may not be used with this data source - please consider moving to a supported data source or upgrading the SQL server data source to the latest available version.

Any ideas on how to resolve this issue?

Hello, I'm getting that error, too.  Have you found a resolution yet?

Did you try to ping your server? -> Does this work do you get a response?

Did you try to telnet your server with the Port on which DB2 is listening? -> Does this work - do you get a response?

A bit more info what you've tried to resolve your issue would help us to determine what to do next...

BR,

Josef
