I have a visual that displays the scheduled amount of time and the canceled amount of time. My problem is that the data is coming from the same place and it then changes once I apply the filter of "canceled appointments". How do I make it so that the slicer only affects one value in the visual? Thanks!

Hi @Anonymous ,
You should use slicer instead of filter.
Check the formula below.
Measure = IF(ISFILTERED('Table (2)'[slicer]),CALCULATE(SUM('Table'[scheduled amount]),FILTER('Table','Table'[slicer]=SELECTEDVALUE('Table (2)'[slicer]))),SUM('Table'[scheduled amount]))
The slicer table should have no relationship with the fact table.
Result would be shown as below.

Hi @Anonymous ,
Can you please add more information to your question with some screenshots?
The values that you move on the chart, are they calculated values or coming directly from table?
Thanks,
Pragati
Hi, thanks. They are coming directly from the table.

Hi @Anonymous ,
Have you tried looking to edit interractions in Power BI:
Use can use these to avoid a visual from getting filtered by a filter.
If this helps and resolves the issue, appreciate a Kudos and mark it as a Solution! 🙂
Thanks,
