I tried using IF in a measure with SUMX iterator but not getting correct result

I have a 'Severity' column as follows which should return the 'Severity Code' measure:

Table1[Severity]                 Severity Code Measure
Recoverable                                       1
Not Recoverable                                0
Cannot say                                        0.5

I tried this but didn't get correct result:
Severity Code = SUMX(Table1,
IF(Table1[Severity]="Not Recoverable",0,
IF(Table1[Severity]="Recoverable",1,
IF(Table1[Severity]="Cannot say",0.5,0
))))

Hi @Anonymous

please try

Severity Code =
SWITCH (
    SELECTEDVALUE ( Table1[Severity] ),
    "Not Recoverable", 0,
    "Recoverable", 1,
    "Cannot say", 0.5,
    0
)
