I have a client request to provide a slicer for custom date ranges, which will then be sync'd across multiple report pages.
Effectively, they want shortcuts which replace the standard date slicer in "relative" mode.
Currently this is a hidden control and we set dates through use of bookmarks.
Unfortunately, independed buttons provide no visual cue as to which one is selected.
I'd like to use a horizontal slicer with the four options, similar to the following, just with each button setting a different date range as indicated above. Visual feedback is essential
I am guessing there would be a DAX routine with a Switch based on button value.
If that can be done, I'm still clueless on how I would set the hidden relative slicer, which works functionally and sync's well.
Looking for low-code / no-code ideas.

This would be a good application of Calculation Groups using Tabular Editor. You can make a Calculation Item for each time period, and then use that column in your slicer.

Sounds like a viable plan. I will dig into it this weekend.
Am I to understand that whatever my calculation group produces, it will be attached to the slicer button pushed?
