I can't resolve this error since last three days. can anyone help ?

Failed to save modifications to the server. Error returned: 'The provider 'Microsoft.PowerBI.OleDb' is not registered.
The following system error occurred: Class not registered
A connection could not be made to the data source with the Name of 'c8f08f70-db28-4aad-b75f-1be9b8c3db29'.

@Jagdip1968,

I am not able to reproduce the issue on my side. Could you please uninstall Power BI Desktop and re-install it? Please make sure you install the latest version of Power BI Desktop(2.52.4921.581).

Thanks for your reply but it still doesn't work. My version is 

Version: 2.52.4921.581 64-bit (November, 2017)

 I did uninstall the product and install it several times but no success.

Guys,

 I  tried to get the data from Excel  and get the error message 

Failed to save modifications to the server. Error returned: 'The provider 'Microsoft.PowerBI.OleDb' is not registered.
The following system error occurred: Class not registered
A connection could not be made to the data source with the Name of '24744b99-a062-4118-a6fe-aad562571a36'.

 Same thing with  any other Data Source. ( SQL Server, Text file, XMl etc.)Error.png
