Hello all,
I'm relatively new to powerBI, and need help with something that I believe (or hope) is of easy solution.
Basically I have a requirement of applying different date filters based on the same single selection (month based) in a slicer.
For example: If the user selects "JULY" in the slicer, different visuals should be filtered with their respective dates, but all from the same slicer month selection (in this case, july). See the picture bellow to understand better.
Visuals 1 and 3 share the same date information, from table a.
Visual b uses date info from table b.
All visuals should use the same month selection from the slicer.
I would appreciate any insights on how to achieve this setup.
Solved! Go to Solution.
Create a proper date table and link that to both tables in one-to-many relationships, with the Date table on the one side. Use the values from your Date table in all your visuals and that will filter both tables at the same time.

Yes! It worked perfectly, thank you very much 🙂
