How to use a measure without the data being filtered.

I am trying to get the last date from the [Journal Date] column in my data model. For that, I am using

Max('MyTableName'[Journal Date]). I am storing this formula in a measure. But when I filter the data using a slicer, I get the Maximum date from the selected slicer value. How can I get the last date from all the data regardless of the selected filter? Any help will be highly appreciated

Hi @GurdeepMundi

Try this measure to remove any filters:
Measure = calculate(Max('MyTableName'[Journal Date]),all('MyTableName'))

Hi,

You should create a Calendar Table with a relationship (Many to One and Single) from the Journal Date column to the Date column of the Calendar Table.  To your slicer, drag the Date column from the Calendar Table.  Write this measure

Max date irrrespective of date selected in slicer = calculate([your measure],all(calendar))

Hope this helps.
