How to sum value of first row only in Paginated Report ?

Hi,

My dataset has two tables joins

PayItem and Actuals. So I have three rows of actuals the PayItem data will have have same rows with different actuals.

As the PayItems data is multiple times I am doing group in Tablix in Paginated Report.

But I need to show the GRAND TOTAL in the report. In my case the SUM is calculating with duplicate values of TotalPrice.

Seems like the problem is you are joining to tables together that have different grains.

Can you roll them up to the same grain before you join them?

Is you data coming from a relational database, are you using SQL?  If you can't roll them up then you could use something like rownumber() partitioned by your grain to generate a 1, 2, 3 etc..  then have a calculation that only shows the TotalPrice where the rownumber is 1
