Hi @yr112,

We're happy to assist you on the Microsoft Fabric Community Forum and Thank you @Deku for your input to the query.

If your scatter chart’s X-axis is not sorting dates correctly in Power BI, even though your column is in Date format, you need to manually adjust the sorting.

First, select the scatter chart in your report, click on the ellipsis (⋮) (More options) in the top-right corner of the visual, and choose Sort by "Tentative" (your Date column). Ensure the sort order is set to Ascending so that earlier dates appear first.

If the issue persists, go to the Modeling tab, select the "Tentative" column, and check if Sort by Column is available. If Power BI is incorrectly sorting by another column, manually set Sort by "Tentative" (itself). Unlike in table views, sorting in Data View does not affect visuals.

If your date field is still not sorting correctly, check that the X-axis type is set to Continuous in the Format pane under the X-axis settings. A Categorical X-axis might not respect date order correctly. Once adjusted, return to your report, and the X-axis should now display dates in the correct chronological order.
